See what Aximyr builds.

One idea, built on Aximyr while you watch: a robot cell that palletizes, from the conveyor to the wrapped pallet. Below it, the record of a real engineering run. Then tell us yours.

See everything it produced

The whole engineering package, stage by stage, with its evidence: 5 jobs with four different endings, including the two that end in “we can’t do this yet”.

Pick 5 kg parts, fenced cell

We need a collaborative robot to pick 5 kg steel housings from a conveyor and place them into a CNC fixture about 1.2 m away. The parts are gripped by friction between two fingers. ABB preferred. Cycle time 20 s. The cell is fenced and needs a door wide enough to roll a 900 mm pallet truck through, on the east side about 1.5 m along from the corner where the conveyor comes in; we keep our fence 900 mm clear of the robot's reach as a house standard. The robot moves the part at about 1 g.

In Ontario, the work is to ISO/TS 15066:2016 and CSA Z434:26.

Where it landed: Needs information. It names what it does not know instead of filling the gap with a plausible number.

This is not a chat that sounds confident.

A language model reads the request and proposes what to look at. It never supplies a number a check depends on. Every value is either in a manufacturer's own document — quoted, with the page — or calculated, or marked unknown. A check returns pass, fail, unknown or not checked, and an unknown never quietly becomes a pass.

So the interesting output is not the configuration. It is the list of things it refuses to decide for you: the safety distance nobody stated, the load rating that depends on a centre of gravity you have not measured, the lock on the fence door that is a safety decision rather than a layout one.
