Parts as their makers publish them
Reads the part files manufacturers publish, and says their units, their size, where their hole patterns and turning axes are, and anything wrong with them.
Tesryn Lab · Engineering research
Put real parts together on screen and know, before anything is ordered, whether they fit.
In use at Tesryn First built for engineers who have to know a design fits before it is made · 2026
01 — What it is
The part files manufacturers publish go in. It reports what each one really is, places the parts the way they actually attach, checks every pair for collisions, contact and clearance, and writes the assembly out with a record that shows nothing changed after the check. Simple parts can be designed on it too, from a sketch. The same parts and placements give the same assembly every time. Part of Aximyr, Tesryn's engineering platform, since October 2026: its CAD module.
The moment it earns its keepA new gripper is fitted to the arm on screen before lunch, and the one clash that would have meant remaking a plate shows up before anyone orders metal.
What it proves we can do
02 — What it can do
Reads the part files manufacturers publish, and says their units, their size, where their hole patterns and turning axes are, and anything wrong with them.
Every pair of parts is checked for collisions, contact and clearance, with the numbers behind each verdict, and looked at twice wherever a touch could hide an overlap.
The same parts and placements always give the same assembly, so a result can be checked again later. Change one part and only what that change touches is checked again.
A plate or bracket is drawn from a sketch, then rounded, cut, hollowed or pushed and pulled. Each step is kept by where it was made, and one the material cannot take is refused by name.
When a part exists only as a drawing, it says how far a model built from it can be relied on.
03 — How it connects
The same things we know how to do keep coming back in different industries. This is where this one sits: what it proves, and what else proves the same thing.
A description becomes real parts Numbers in, manufacturable geometry and engineering limits out, the same way every time. Also proved by Magnetic Digital Twin, Application Engineering.
Sealed, verifiable records Work that writes down what happened in a way nobody can quietly edit later. Also proved by Podcast Maker, Magnetic Digital Twin, Sentinel, Tesryn Launch.
A person approves before it's real Automation can prepare anything and finish nothing. The last step is always a person. Also proved by Tesryn Signal, Podcast Maker, Reconstruction Research Studio, Application Engineering, Command Center, Tesryn Launch.
The whole map — six sections, and everything that proves them.
04 — What it's held to
What it isn't. Not a fabrication approval, a motion study or a strength calculation: it checks parts standing still. Turning a drawing into a finished part is still being built.
05 — The recipe stays in the lab
Yours would be your own build, on your systems, and you'd own it outright: code, documentation, no lock-in. What we bring to it is the practice — we've solved this shape of problem before, so you're not paying for the first attempt. The method stays ours. And if what you need isn't here at all, that's the usual case — it's how every skill on this page started.
